Cultivating a more supportive internal dialogue with oneself is essentially what self-love is. The cause for almost all in-harmonic situations in life is generally a tyrannical internal dialogue which dominates ones thought patterns. Ones mind is like a garden; i.e.: if you don’t make time to pull out those mental-weeds regularly it will become overgrown and tangled very rapidly. Happiness flows much more freely when one’s sense of inner-peace and self-acceptance is not dependent upon any outside conditions, people or things falling into place, as invariably these are beyond ones mortal powers of control. The only thing that one can control is how one feels from moment to moment and choosing to feel good is key to light heart.
